TITLE: THE FRENCH LINE
FORMAT: US Six-Sheet (81 x 81 inches)
STARS: Jane Russell, Gilbert Roland, Mary McCarty. DIRECTOR: Lloyd Bacon.
NOTES: Following on from "The Outlaw", Jane Russell's bust in 3-D was the gimmick Howard Hughes used to sell this FILM to the eager punters. The tag line on some material read "See Jane Russell in 3-D - She'll Knock BOTH Your Eyes Out!" Very rare six-sheet, measuring almost 7 feet by 7 feet and with larger than life image of Jane Russell giving maximum dramatic effect. These were intended for pasting to billboards and were produced in relatively small quantities. Few have survived. An excellent piece for interior decorators or set designers.
CONDITION: Grade A-. Pinholes. Some slightly frayed folds with some separation at cross-folds with a few slight losses. One hole in lower left section (below 'a' of 'Grainger'), one small tear in yellow background near title. Folded, in 4 sections, as issued.
