FORMAT: British quad (30 x 40 inches)
STARS: Kris Kristofferson, Ali MacGraw, Ernest Borgnine. Director: Sam Peckinpah.
NOTES: An unusual film for Sam Peckinpah and, in a strange way, a movie that defines the 1970s. The plot was loosely inspired by the song of the same title by C.W. McColl about truckers and C.B. radio and a mile long illegal convoy of truckers. The media attention is soon focused on what turns into a story of the 'ordinary Joe' against massed and oppressive authority. A sort of Jack Kerouak meets the 70s disco generation. It still had the usual dose of Peckinpah's trademark violence.
CONDITION: Grade A. Fine. Folded, as issued.
