NOTES: Once cited as the pinnacle of absurdity in Reagan's career, Bedtime For Bonzo has had the reappraisal that it deserves and has now become something of a national treasure. The quintessential Reagan movie poster. Win one for the Gipper! All material for this film has become scarce and this large, colourful three-sheet is particularly uncommon. The ultimate in 1950s kitsch.
CONDITION: Grade B. Edge creases and short edge tears. Frayed and chipped along central horizontal fold line. Some folds have brittleness with slight separations at some cross folds with resulting small chips and losses. There is a tear and paper loss in the figure of the running woman at bottom border and a small hole in top white border. Scheduled for linen backing and sympathetic restoration but offered, for the time being, in its ORIGINAL, unrestored condition. Folded, in 2 sections, as issued. N.B. The photograph does not show the top and bottom borders as, due to its size, we were hampered by the enclosed space in which the photo was taken. The poster is complete.
