WORLD CINEMA POSTERS

WORLD CINEMA POSTERS:  The category of World Cinema encompasses films in all genres which were originally made in a language other than English.  Our stock of posters offered for sale includes original posters issued in the film’s country of first release as well as original English language posters for the film’s first release in Britain or America.  Although some world cinema posters are given a general release in English speaking countries (particularly those that have fared well at the Oscars or other awards) the majority of films in this category have a limited release and are screened only in art house cinemas.  Consequently, the original posters for these limited screenings are uncommon and often feature inspirational artwork of high quality, free from the constraints of the major Hollywood studios. All our world cinema posters are guaranteed original and, unless stated otherwise, were for the first British or American release of the film.
